Onboard
Scales with SI Load Cells
SI load
cells are designed and manufactured to withstand the rugged
environment of onboard scales. The load cell bodies are machined
from high alloy steel and heat-treated for maximum strength
and reliability. Tested to maximum overload capacity to insure
safety and durability is a way of life at SI. Sealing is the
last step to long life and reliability and that is why we
have a triple redundant sealing process. This sealing process
allows the load cell to survive in the harsh environments
of water, ice salt and wash down. |

Onboard
Scales with SI AirScales
SI AirScales
are designed and manufactured to withstand the rugged environment
of onboard scales. Pressure transducers designed and manufactured
by SI and combine with our transmitter and 9100 Meter to achieve
an accurate AirScale system for air suspension. AirScales
can be installed on trucks and trailers that utilize air suspension
systems by mounting the pressure transducers in the air system.
You can mix AirScales with load cells to achieve an onboard
scale system. For example, the truck can be equipped with
load cells on the 5th wheel and connected to a trailer with
air suspension using AirScales on the trailer. |

1 and 2, channel 3 and 4, and channel 1, 2, 3, and 4 individually.

Your local, factory trained, SI dealer can install all types of onboard
scales on your trucks and trailers in their shop. Most SI onboard
scales can be installed on existing trucks and trailers within a few

Parts and Service
SI maintains a large parts inventory located in Tustin, California
and Kelowna, Canada combined with a repair center in each location
to provide quick repair service. In addition, we have factory authorized
dealer network that sells and services the products we sell. |
