The
System
The Tuffer weigh-in-motion loader scale is designed to operate
on any type and size loader. The system uses pressure sensors
to measure changes in hydraulic pressure which are directly
proportional to the load being lifted. The output of the pressure
sensors are interpreted by the Digital Meter, mounted in the
cab of the loader near the operator, and provides the display.
Tuffer’s easy to read liquid crystal display (LCD) with
built in back light display the individual lift weights and
cumulative total by material, truck or other preferences.
The meter has internal firmware that displays on screen user
prompts throughout all functions, making operation fast and
friendly. Tuffer weigh-in-motion is equipped with a two second
last bucket tip-off function, making it much faster and easier
to get the loaded weight correct the first time.

Printer
A tape printer, shown on left, is available as an option.
The printer uses standard size, 21/4”, adding machine
paper, and requires 12 to 24 Volts DC power. The printer
displays time and date, a 12 character truck ID and loader
ID, the truck total, and the long load. |

Weighing
The Load
Although Tuffer weights are not Legal-for-Trade, you can achieve
a high degree of accuracy, ±1% of Bucket Weigh. Tuffer
also includes a last bucket tip-off feature to make it easier
to get the right weight in the truck.
